Summer Drink: Mint flavored Water Melon Juice

Hi all!

I know everybody loves water melon. I do. I ❤ water melon.

Even if you dont, and if your are too bored to remove the seeds, you can always make fresh juice. Today, I am going to show how easy it is to make water melon juice.

Usually I use mint but you can use other flavor like spear mint leaves, basil leaves, rosemary, cumin and such according to your preference. This works even better for those who really do not like or cannot drink enough water. This is a nurturing juice, and it is without sugar so you can drink any time and as much as you would like.

Ingredient  (For 6 tall glasses):

One ripe and juicy watermelon (about 3 kg)

Mint leaves (1 bunch)

Ice crushed as required


Prep time : 10 minutes


Place you watermelon on a cutting board. Remove the outer cover. Slice it into small  chunks. Wash the mint leaves, place in a bowl.

Sliced watermelon and mint leaves.

Place the sliced watermelon in a blender. Add mints leaves(or like I said above any other flavoring like rosemary, basil, cumin etc. that you would like) and blend away. When they become thinner, add crushed ice.

Strain the blended syrup into a deep bowl. Now pour onto glasses. Add extra summery feel with mint leaves on top. Your fresh and sweet water melon juice with mint flavor is ready for serving.

You can make any kind of seasonal fruit juice by following the above steps. Beats the supermarket smoothies with artificial flavor and sugar anytime. Here are a few more that I whipped up in minutes- plum juice, mulberry juice and watermelon juice. Hint: just add some water if you are making the mulberry one.

  1. I think this is very important and delicious juice. I think you should experiment with new juice flavors every day and feed them to us at the office thank you.

  2. Fortunately, I have tasted one of her mint flavor juice ( mint flavored mango juice) …….. Man !!! That was Awesome.

  3. I started with water melon, and it tasted incredible. Then I proceeded to replace water melon with grapes, and then orange. Needless to say, they all tasted fresh, minty and healthy. Thank you for the recipes.
